Every so often
A bit of verse appears
In a place unexpected
(This is not it)
When it does
Because it is unexpected
It commands attention
Breaks in patterns always do
And I will be giving the piece attention
Elsewhere
I have done such things
Here
Before
But it seems that another place
Fits better
So I have something to do today
To be sure
