After hundreds of miles and days away,
I'm home again, and could I stay
Here and while the days away,
I would with no hesitation.
Alas, I will no respite find,
For many tasks have come to mind
For me to do, and, although kind,
The demand my attention.
So now I sit me down to write
Such lines as these, and others might
Flow from my fingers to screens' light
And foster rumination.
