I'd run the race
Tried again and again to make the kind of time
That would let me move past the one heat
And I finally did it
But I had to change events
Go from sprinting to a distance run
For which I thought I had trained enough
Wrongly
And now I am plodding along
And hoping I do not get knocked out of contention
