The sun peeks out from behind the clouds
But chilly breezes still blow
A swamp-cooler working in what passes for winter
Where snow seldom falls and ice seldom forms
But there are threads of green poking out from a tapestry that
Is brown from its time in the weather
And colored embroideries may soon show themselves
Where the cloth has been washed clean
