This is the odd day
Wrung out by celebration though many are
Still must they labor
The systems in place in the country they celebrate
Demanding it of them
Some are off
Of course
Fortunate that they need not work
Today
And others are off
Because they have to be
Not because they want to be
Elsewhere
It is just another day
