The mouthpiece is too far down the cork
It needs to be pushed in
But the cork is too compressed
Worn out from too long use
Without being refurbished
And while a wrap of paper can keep the mouthpiece where it needs to be
The paper soaks through and falls apart
With what is carried by the wind that goes through
Pushing in does little at present
Needs to be done again and again
Almost with each breath
Taking a hand away that is needed to make the notes sound right
But without that hand
The notes won't sound right
