I am already behind again
Being caught up has come to an end
Work continues, an unfortunate trend
And I am already behind again
I never run out of things to do
Working for money and for the home, too
A hustlingly busy solo pseudo-crew
I never run out of things to do
For much of it, I sit down to write
Reading and finding and bringing to light
What in texts is wrong, what in texts is right
And wishing that I had some more time to write
But I am already behind again
Facing a list of tasks with no end
Is it any wonder I'm not much of a friend
Since I am so damnably behind again?
